Richmond Park

Richmond Park is the largest royal park in the Greater London. Created in the 17th century by the King of England Charles I. This park is a nature reserve. Named of scientific interest for wildlife conservation and preservation this park is for me the best in London. It’s a full immersion in the countryside ounce we get there for a break from the noisy and bustling city.

Access to the Park is with the District line and overground at Richmond station. It is located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. This place is very peaceful regarding the biodiversity and visitors can spot free-ranging deers. King Henry’s Mound located at the west of the park is a spot where you have a beautiful view of the west suburb of London. A free telescope allows you to zoom in the scenery and you can spot from afar. You can spot Windsor castle, Twickenham stadium, and Heathrow airport.

Here are the picture I took during my visit there.
